WIZCARD

📜 Core Rules

Each wizard has 50 Health and starts with 6 Mana. Gain 6 Mana at the start of each turn (max 12).
You always have 7 cards in hand. After playing a card, immediately draw one from your deck (unless you gained a card by other means).
Reduce the opponent wizard's Health to 0 to win.
The battlefield is a 3x3 grid. Front, middle, and back rows determine attack order and targeting.
Each turn: play any number of cards → wizard attacks → all creatures attack → end turn.

🃏 Card Types

🔥 Spell — Deal damage, apply status effects, heal, or summon special effects.
🐉 Creature — Summon to the board. They attack each turn and may have passive abilities.
👓 Equipment — Provide lasting buffs or powerful one‑time effects.
🤫 Secret — Trigger automatically when conditions are met, consuming mana.
✨ Token — Copy cards generated by abilities or specific cards. They do not go to the discard pile.

⚡ Elemental Reactions (Core Combo Mechanic)

🔥 Burnt + 💧 Soaked → 4 direct damage (to target wizard or creature)

💧 Soaked + ⚡ Shocked → 2 damage + Stun (skips next attack)

⚡ Shocked + 🔥 Burnt → 2 damage and splash 1 damage to other enemies

※ When both statuses are present, the reaction triggers immediately and removes both.

🏆 Champion Abilities

Harry Potter — Spells costing 3 or less are cast twice (same target).

Hermione Granger — After casting a spell, reduce the mana cost of a random spell in your hand by 25% (rounded down).

Ron Weasley — When summoning a creature, grant a random permanent buff: +1 ATK / 25% double attack / +2 HP.

Albus Dumbledore — Every fourth spell you cast gives you a token copy with half mana cost. 5% chance to summon a Phoenix when casting a spell.

Gellert Grindelwald — Every 6 cards played summon an Acolyte. Your spells cost 1 less mana but cost 1 HP. Acolytes repeat spells by spending HP equal to the original cost. Ally deaths trigger Protego Diabolica.

Vinda Rosier — Damaging the enemy wizard has 25% chance to inflict Fear (+1 mana cost to a random hand card). Killing any enemy gives 2 mana and Vindictiveness (+1 damage next attack). After dealing 20 total damage, summon an Acolyte.

Luna Lovegood — Every 5 mana spent summons a random beast. Every 10th summon summons an additional Thestral. You can always see Thestrals (no Spectrespecs needed).

Newt Scamander — When you summon a non‑token creature, gain a free Niffler token in hand.

Minerva McGonagall — When you cast a spell, 40% chance to transfigure a random enemy creature into a Teacup (1 HP, 0 ATK). If no enemy creatures exist, cast Piertotum Locomotor instead.

🌀 Status Effects Quick Reference

Disarm — Cannot attack or cast spells next turn (affects wizard/creature attacks).
Stun — Skips next attack for creatures, and gain 3 mana instead of 6 next turn for wizards.
Bleed — Takes 1~2 damage at end of turn.
Heal — Restores 1~2 health at end of turn.
Fear — A random card in hand costs +1 mana for 2 turns.
Unseen (Thestral) — Cannot play Thestral unless you wear Spectrespecs or are Luna.
Runic Ward — Absorbs the next instance of damage.
Obscurus / Obscurial — Transforms the wizard, doubling damage taken but also doubling attack power.

🎮 Controls & Tips

Click a card in hand to select it → click a flag on the board (valid targets are highlighted) to play it.
Click empty space or outside the board to cancel selection.
Hover over any card, creature, or wizard to see detailed description and current status.
The "Retreat" button on your creatures returns them to your deck and gives +1 mana immediately.
Elemental reactions are key to turning the tide. Try to combine low‑cost elemental spells.
Each champion's special counters (e.g., Dumbledore's spell count, Luna's mana spent) are shown when hovering over the wizard tile.
